These are the style frames for the assignment. The Photoshop files contained all the artwork elements on different layers, though some things had to be recreated a bit. Arms were originally one piece, but I broke them up with masks on multiple, parented, layers to get them to bend at the joints. I also added puppet pins to the noses for movement.

 

I actually didn’t use as many thumbnails for this! I was still kind of barreling through assignments more often at this point. I definitely got back into the habit of thumbnails after this. Above are the notes for the animation of the final style frame, showing the panels (called BGs) sliding in and expanding as the face and thumb pop in.
